Portrait of Karaydhjenna Bourejenn

Kara Bourejenn, a women of many talents, who tends to prefer to stay hidden among the good, (sometimes dubiously) honest, hard-working folks of the Anchorfall Docks. She works hard, she parties hard. It would be quite surprising to most people who know her that she's also an assassin. Not just any thug - she's a provocateur. If assassins kill people for political ends, what could be more political than making people think and act?

There's been a lull in me making character portraits for the Avarthrel Encyclopædia. I wanted to make a drawing of Kara looking a little bit more dangerous than usual; she's the type who's an extremely nice person to hang around with, but in the seconds before she actually kills someone, she's usually more than a little bit frightening. Which is why she keeps that period as short as humanly possible. Even her colleagues get freaked out sometimes. Atmosphere of totally inevitable death tends to be a bit unsettling.
