This is an illustration for a story "The Sweet Side of Death" - Faira Ativel's letter to her sister, concerning the her rediscovery of a goddess that has been completely forgotten in the whole of the continent - Carriglena, the Lady of Withering.

Just thought I'd get the illustration ready before the story itself is out, my stories have an annoying tendency to be out pretty late - though there's no need to worry, the story is almost done anyway =) I also wanted to make this illustration because I noticed that in a lot of drawings I haven't been paying all that much attention to little details. Here's some little details.
Done with ink pen and pencil.

Siinä on alttarilla aseita ilmassa leijumassa kuten kunnon fantasiamaailmassa pitääkin olla: Zeldassakin kaikki esineet ostetaan kaupasta ja ne leijuvat ilmassa, vaikka kaikki tietenkin väittävät että ne nojaavat seinään (mutta miksi sitten niiden alla on tyhjää ilmaa). Mutta fantasiamaailmassa esineet (ja vartalottomat sudet, susiloidit) leijuvat. Tästä todisteena muun muassa Linkin esineensaamisanimaatiot muistakin esineistä kuin Hover Bootseista. :)

Ai jaa, meinasitkin ikkunalla olevia esineitä. Ne ovat osa lasimaalausta, mutta kyllä ne leijuviltakin näyttävät. Pitäisi varmaan piirtää tämä puhtaaksi ja lisätä s-nasti bloomia niin ei jäisi mikään epäselväksi :)

Joo, tarkoitus oli että se miekka on nojallaan alttaria vasten, mutta en piirtänyt sille erikseen varjoa, joten näyttää vähän höhlältä... Näyttää myös aika kornilta mittasuhteiden osalta.

Mutta totta, kyllä sitä esineiden pitääkin välillä vähän mystisesti leijua!
